Our client was visiting the Cole residence with her daughter Lucy. As they sat on the front stoop, the defendant’s dog Smokey – who had previously displayed aggressive behavior – was released by Mr. Cole and attacked Lucy, pushing her to the ground and biting her face. Settled for $410,000.00 prior to trial.
