Our client was walking his dog when the neighbor’s dog ran into the street and knocked him down. Client broke his arm and had surgery. Farmers Insurance company denied liability claiming our client hurst himself trying to break up a dog fight. Policy limits were $300,000 and case settled prior to trial for $375,000.
